Guest Speaker, Dr Ann Saltzman, Professor Emerita of Psychology and Director Emerita of Drew’s Center for Holocaust/Genocide Study, New Jersey will give a lecture on “The Holocaust and the Psychology of Survival”.
Dr Ann Saltzman is Professor Emerita of Psychology and Director Emerita of Drew’s Center for Holocaust/Genocide Study, New Jersey, and has published extensively on the Holocaust.
A recipient of several prestigious awards, Dr Saltzman is considered a leading international specialist on the psychology of the Holocaust.
In her presentation she will discuss the psychological and other issues relating to the stress people encountered in ghettos and concentrations camps and their responses to extreme circumstances.
