Dr Berenbaum has served as Deputy Director of the President’s Commission on the Holocaust Project, Director of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) and Director of the USHMM’s Holocaust Research Institute. He is currently Professor of Jewish Studies at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles and Director of the university’s Sigi Ziering Institute: Exploring the Ethical and Religious Implications of the Holocaust.
