Child Survivor Forum: ‘Children Surviving Hurt’

The Child Survivor Group of the Holocaust (CSH) will be presenting a forum on ‘Children Surviving Hurt’.

Guest Panellists: Dr Paul Valent (Psychiatrist, Traumatologist & Author), Richard Rozen OAM, Bernadette Gore & Floris Kalman.

Child survivors of the Holocaust are a unique group – the last eye witnesses of the Holocaust. Like children of other major traumas they have been the most traumatized and the most silenced and ignored group.

Child survivor panellists will place their experiences into an historical context in terms of childhood suffering through the ages. They will discuss their personal Holocaust journeys openly, and will draw on their experiences of fear and trauma, family losses, reunions, relationships, the pain of silence, and creating a future.
