Commemoration of the Pontian Hellenism Genocide

The Melbourne Holocaust Museum together with the Coordinating Committee of Pontian Associations for the Commemoration of the Genocide of Greeks of Pontos invite you to attend a Commemoration of the Pontic Genocide (1913-1922).

Keynote speaker: Professor Paul Bartrop, Professor of History and Director for Judaic, Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Florida Gulf Coast University, USA will give a lecture on “Combating the Defeat of Memory”.

Welcome and Introduction will be given by Constantinos Antoniadis, President of the Coordinating Committee of Pontian Associations for the Commemoration of the Genocide of Greeks of Pontos and Asia Minor.

Memorial Candle lighting ceremony will take place.

Vote of thanks will be given by Dr Donna-Lee Frieze, Melbourne Holocaust Museum, Inaugural Genocide Study Scholar.
