Anne Carson will read from her free verse biography, Massaging Himmler: A Poetic Biography of Dr Felix Kersten. The poem was inspired by a book found in an Op Shop and tells the story of Kersten, Heinrich Himmler’s trusted masseur, who used his influence to secure the release of thousands of Jews.
