Due to the evolving situation regarding COVID-19, the MHM has decided to postpone this event and ensure not only our precious Holocaust survivors are not exposed to any risk, we also want to minimise the risk to the community. We appreciate your understanding.
You are invited to the last survivor talk in Selwyn Street before the MHM building is redeveloped. This is a rare opportunity to hear first hand from a Holocaust survivor.
Abram was born in Lodz, Poland, in 1924. Abram and his parents were imprisoned in Lodz Ghetto and forced to work as labourers. In 1944 Abram and his mother were sent to Auschwitz, where his mother was gassed upon arrival. Abram was sent to a series of camps before being liberated in 1945 in Wobbelin.
This event is part of the MHM festival program for In One Voice. Please note, Selwyn St will be blocked off during the event. Ensure you leave plenty of time to arrive.
