The Kadimah and the Melbourne Holocaust Museum are proud to present
‘Music – A Light in the Dark’
A special film, music and discussion event to conclude this year’s In One Voice Jewish Culture Street Festival in the Selwyn/Sinclair Street precinct.
This special post-festival musical event will feature excerpts from Judy Menczel’s moving documentary Pockets of Hope, about Polish-Jewish reconciliation though music, starring Sydney Klezmer entertainer Fay Sussman.
The evening will include a performance of Yiddish songs with Fay Sussman accompanied by pianist Phil Marks and a conversation between Fay and acclaimed singer/songwriter/festival curator Deborah Conway.
