The future of Holocaust education – online lecture

The Holocaust: Uncovering the History

Online Course: The future of Holocaust education

In 2020 we commemorated 75 years since the liberation of the camps and the end of World War II. As the Holocaust moves further back in time, we are losing our last witnesses, our survivor community.  Compounded by the rise of hatred and antisemitism, a recent Claims Conference survey in America revealed that “a significant number of millennials and Gen Z can’t name a single concentration camp or ghetto, believe that two million or fewer Jews were killed and a concerning percentage believe that Jews caused the Holocaust”.

In this session Lisa Phillips, MHM Head of Education will explore the challenges and issues facing the future of Holocaust education and how she and her team are tackling them.

This sessions is open to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of the Holocaust.
