“Food Security and Famine in the 21st Century”
Yvette works in the international humanitarian arena, formerly as an aid worker and currently as a trainer of aid workers. Previously, she has worked in Tanzania for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Yvette currently resides in Melbourne where she works for RedR Australia as a humanitarian trainer, and she trains aid workers in a number of areas critical to effective international disaster response, including water, sanitation, shelter, health, protection, law, education, aid worker security, food and nutrition, site planning and working with the military.
