What’s Old and What’s New in the “New Antisemitism”?
Since the turn of the century, we have been talking about “the new antisemitism”, but since October 7 it has intensified and grown. Although we might call it “new”, the antisemitism we are experiencing has many features with long roots in history. In order to understand the newer elements, we must first identify the old. In this lecture, Dr Robert Rozett from Yad Vashem will explore the historical context to 21st century antisemitism, and provide necessary background to a deeper understanding of recent events.
