Workplace program of the 'Everybody Had a Name' exhibition

Deep learning through history. Our facilitated museum experiences immerse workplace teams in the historical lessons of the Holocaust, helping participants recognise the dangers of dehumanisation and understand their relevance today. Cultural competence programs include a bespoke workshop. Possibilities for the workshop include:

  1. We situate the Holocaust in a history of antisemitism, and consider what antisemitism looks like today.
  2. We focus on the demographics of the local Jewish community, with a view to understanding its cultural and religious diversity.

All workshops include a look at recent events in Australia, and enable participants to better understand the sensitivities of local Jews. This is ideal for organisations seeking a structured, research-backed professional learning experience.

Booking information

  • Changes, cancellations and no-shows

    • Full cancellation can be made until 21-days prior to booking.
    • Cancellations made within 21-days of booking will result in the full fee charge for the numbers booked. This will be invoiced on strict 7-day payment terms.
    • No show of a group will result in the full fee charge to the institution. This will be invoiced on strict 7-day payment terms.
    • Reductions to participant numbers can be made until 7-days prior to booking with no charge.Reductions to participant numbers within 7 days will result in the full fee charge for the numbers booked. This will be invoiced on strict 7-day payment terms.
    • The MHM may amend your booking, subject to availability. 

  • Final confirmation date

    • You must confirm your final booking numbers at least 14 days before your scheduled visit. 
    • We’ll issue a tax invoice after your confirmation. This is payable within 7 days of the invoice date. 

  • Payment, billing, and terms and conditions

     

    • A tax invoice will be issued after your booking and is payable within 7-days of the invoice date.
    • If your group size on the day is smaller than the final confirmation number, we are unable to give any deduction or refunds. 
    • In compliance with OH+S regulations you must not bring a greater number of attendees than you have booked for. Please contact prior to the day in relation to additional participants. MHM will accommodate wherever possible.
    • Due to the fragile nature of our displays and for security reasons, bags are not permitted into the museum. A condition of entry to the MHM is that any bags brought with you may be subject to inspection by our security personnel. A holding area is available for bags and other items to be left at the owners’ risk. Should you require to have personal items with you during your visit this must be disclosed to security upon arrival.
    • Participants are not permitted to consume or carry food and beverages on site.
    • The MHM reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who fails to comply with the above terms and conditions.
