Melbourne Holocaust Museum, et al.

About this book
In the Warsaw Ghetto, historian Emanuel RIngelblum and a group of his associates formed an underground organisation called Oneg Shabbat (Joy of the Sabbath), which documented the Holocaust. Among the materials collected in the Ringelblum Archive are Jewish diaries, accounts, official documents and documents of social life, a total of 35, 000 pages, which in various ways showed the immensity of the suffering of the victims and the cruelty of the perpetrators. After the war, this priceless collection was found among the ruins of the Warsaw Ghetto and is today one of the most important sources for the study of the Holocaust. The Ringelblum Archive is a oart of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
