Dr Simon Holloway facilitating Holocaust education program for adults.

Focusing on empathy, tolerance and inclusiveness, our adult Holocaust education programs are customised to your team’s specific interests and objectives.

Onsite program

Through this program, you will explore the experience of Jewish people during the Holocaust, reflect on the choices people made under duress and consider the impact our behaviour has on those around us – be it kindness, cruelty or indifference. You can opt for a general introduction to the Holocaust, or a more in-depth exploration of specific themes and topics. Drawing on the MHM’s collection of artefact and testimony, our expert Holocaust educators will work with you to design a bespoke program for your team or organisation.

Program structure

The program starts with an introduction (tailored to your group’s interest), to provide historical context. Should you wish, this will be followed by a workshop, in which you will explore elements of the Holocaust in greater depth. You will also receive a guided tour of Everybody Had a Name exhibition and – if possible – meet a survivor.
